How do I use the Curling Sea Clay?
Start with clean hair, damp or dry. Smooth a marble-sized amount of clay into a thin layer between your hands, then scrunch, scrunch, and keep scrunching to build volume and accentuate curl structure and shape.
How do I use the Sea Salt Spray?
Mist the Sea Salt Spray evenly throughout your hair, then scrunch upward to build volume and enhance your natural texture. It can be used on its own for a casual, beachy look or layered with the clay for maximum definition.
Should I apply the clay or the spray first?
Either order works — experiment to find your flow. One common routine: work a dime-sized amount of Curling Sea Clay into a thin paste, distribute it evenly through your hair, then mist the Sea Salt Spray throughout and scrunch upward to build volume.
Does it work on straight hair?
Yes. The Curling Sea Clay is specially created to shape thicker hair, waves, and curls — even on the straightest of hair types. Combined with the Sea Salt Spray, it adds movement, volume, and texture to fine or straight hair.
Will it make my hair feel greasy or stiff?
No. The formula is designed to feel lightweight and look natural — not greasy and not crispy. Most people find the results last throughout the day and stay easy to restyle.
What are the key ingredients?
The Sea Salt Spray blends sea salt and pink Himalayan salt with coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, aloe vera, green tea, kelp extract, and a botanical essential-oil blend. The Curling Sea Clay features volcanic bentonite clay, castor oil, arrowroot powder, coconut oil, beeswax, and a naturally derived fragrance.
What if the clay melts in warmer months?
Because the clay is made with all-natural ingredients and has a low melting point, it may melt and reform during warmer months. This is normal and the product remains perfectly functional.
How much product is in the clay tin?
Every clay tin is filled with 2oz of product by weight, not volume. Because the product is measured by weight, it may not fill the entire tin — this is intentional and expected.
How much product should I use each time?
A little goes a long way. Start with a marble- or dime-sized amount of clay and a light misting of spray, then build up gradually until you reach the level of texture, volume, and hold you want.
